The School’s Curriculum and Program Development Committee, comprised mostly of faculty members, has two responsibilities that specifically relate to this item:

• Monitor and review the development, implementation and delivery of SLIS programs
• Propose new programs and recommend approval of new courses

The course proposal process is documented in the Faculty Handbook.

The entire full-time faculty review course proposals and carry out regular curriculum reviews to ensure class offerings are current and complete. These reviews are held as needed during the quarterly faculty retreats.
