In the image below, note the red text. CSU Mentor will not let you proceed until all required aspects of the current step are complete.
In this example the system lets you know it is acceptable to leave the phone number empty as it requires a US format, and this is impossible for non–US students.
Note these key points in the next image.
- Red arrow: the left panel shows all required 9 steps for successful completion of the application.
- A thumbtack icon indicates which page is currently active (in this image, step 1).
- Green arrow: "Skip & Jump" feature allows you to leave a page unfinished and proceed to another page.
- Blue arrow: shows the ability to save the application for later completion. This feature combined with the skip & jump capability allows the applicant to finish the process in more than one session.
