Admissions Requirements
Applicants who meet the following requirements will be considered for admission into SLIS (School of Library and Information Science):
- A B.A. or B.S. degree from a regionally accredited institution in any discipline
- 3.0 minimum GPA in the most recent 60 semester units (or 90 quarter units) of coursework (Effective Spring 2008 applications)
- A general understanding of computers and technology.
- The School requires that all students have computer access from home.
In addition to the requirements mentioned above, International Applicants must meet the following:
- TOEFL
score of 600 (paper version) or 250 (computer version)
OR
- Provide records showing that the primary language of undergraduate instruction was in English
