Module 1: Adding A Blog
A blog (short for Web log) is a web page with content posted by its owner that offer the opportunity for visitors to comment on the posting. It is different from a wiki in the sense that only the blog‘s owner can edit the text of the blog while a wiki allows anyone to edit the content.

To add a page to the Lessons page, navigate to the Lessons Tab.

Then, click the Add Content link:

Add Page 1

You will then receive the Create an Item interface. Click on the Blog link:

Add Blog 1

You will receive the New Blog interface.

Blogs contain the following tabs for configuring the settings.

Tab Description
Content The Content tab provides common settings for the assessment including title, subtitle and directions.
Access The Access tab provides settings for access, tracking and viewing content items. This editor allows instructors the ability to set tracking on content items to control information about visits to the lesson item.
Automate Instructors can ignore this tab.
Assignment The Assignment tab provides access to creating assignments for the assessment

Begin the blog creation process by working on the Content Tab.
