Wiki Interface Overview
The wiki provides an asynchronous collaborative tool for students and instructors to foster collaborative learning and greater peer-to-peer and student-to-faculty communication. The wiki's simple interface makes it a perfect tool to introduce students to the online environment and process of interacting with other students.
It is different from a blog in the sense that anyone can edit the text of the wiki while a blog's owner is the only one able to edit the content.
Once a wiki is created, you need to orient yourself to what you see within the online environment.
Navigate to the Lessons Tab. Then, click the hyperlinked name of your wiki:

You will then receive the entry interface for your wiki:

Wiki Header Menu
The wiki header menu provides the main navigation for the wiki:

| Item | Description |
| start | Click to view the first wiki entry. |
| new entry | Insert a new wiki entry. See also the tutorial on formatting wiki text. |
| search | Search for words and phrases within wiki entries. |
| help | Find help on wiki creation. |
Wiki Content Area
Hovering your mouse over the top right of a wiki entry brings up the wiki entry editing tools:

These tools allow you to edit a wiki entry:
| Tool | Description |
| edit | allows user to edit wiki entry. |
| close | Closing an entry removes the entry from the content screen. However, it is still listed on the sidebar menu under the Timeline tab. |
| close others | Removes all but the first entry listed on the content screen. These entries are still listed in the sidebar menu under the Timeline tab. |
| references | Shows entries that link to the current entry. |
| jump | Allows you to move to another open entry via a menu. |
| rollback | Rollback to previous revision of entry via a menu. |
Wiki Sidebar Menu
The clicking one of the sidebar items allow you to more access capabilities your wiki:

| Item | Description |
| Timeline | Lists entries chronologically, starting with the entry most recently created or modified. |
| All | Lists all entries in alphabetical order. |
| Tags | Lists tags attached to entries. In parenthesis next to the tags, is
the number entries with which the tag is associated. See tutorial on working with tags. |
| More | Lists entries that have links to them but are not defined. |
