Accessing Blackboard and Your Account Information

SJSU SLIS has removed Blackboard's 'Create Account' feature and will now assign Blackboard accounts to students and faculty. This procedure not only increases protection of SLIS online course materials, but also ensures security of both Blackboard functionality and user personal information. For questions or concerns, please contact Blackboard Technical Support.

When you receive a Blackboard account, you will be given a Blackboard username and temporary password (SLIS recommends that you change it). Upon receiving this username and password, you will need to log in to Blackboard and update the personal information attached to your Blackboard account.
