Subscribe to a ForumBlackboard users can receive an e-mail alert when a post is added and/or updated as well as when a user posts a reply in a selected forum. Users will receive the alert at the e-mail address they connected to their Blackboard account.
Please note that this function must be enabled during forum creation.
First enter the Discussion Board area. Then, click on the link to the forum you want to subscribe to:
From there, you will see the all the threads and posts for this forum. To subscribe to this forum, click on the Subscribe button above the hierarchical thread display:
Upon clicking the button, the button text will change to Unsubscribe. Accordingly, click this button if you want to unsubscribe from this thread.
