Collaborate Career Development Workshop
First Wednesday of the Month Series

Each month during the academic year, Jill Klees, SLIS Career Center Liaison, conducts informal workshops for current students and alumni via Blackboard Collaborate. These workshops allow for an interactive question and answer discussion with a focus on different topics such as resume writing, telephone interviewing, the job search, etc. These workshops are recorded and made available as Collaborate Recordings and Podcasts.

Job Search Q&A

This is an open forum job search discussion. This is your opportunity to ask questions and get answers related to your job search. You might be wondering about how to build your network, how informational interviewing can lead to job opportunities, what job search sites are LIS students using to find job opportunities, how to use LinkedIn to connect with SLIS alumni, and more.

All workshops start at 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time. A password is not required to attend. To join the virtual workshops via the web conferencing platform Blackboard Collaborate, click here:
