LIBR 294. Professional Experience: Internships - Site Proposal or Update

The internship is a graded credit/no credit course (LIBR 294). It provides students with a field-based, supervised, professional learning experience that takes place in a library, an archival records repository, or another information organization.

The information below will be reviewed and approved by an internship faculty supervisor and posted on the SLIS website. Please read semester dates and deadlines information before filling out this form. If you would like to propose a K-12 school library for a field experience, please contact Dr. Dan Fuller.

Supervision

Professional supervision by a librarian or archivist is required for an internship. Please describe how this requirement will be met at your location, and include the name of the person who will be the site supervisor.

The internship supervisor listed above has reviewed and agreed to the responsibilities of the supervisor as defined in the LIBR 294 Guidelines.
