LIBR 298 - Special Studies

The School of Library and Information Science offers students the opportunity to take a special independent study course, LIBR 298. Special Studies. This course is offered every semester.

Topics for advanced research study can include papers or projects that are related to libraries and information systems. Note that this course is available only to those students who have completed the core classes of LIBR 200, 202, and 204.

To prepare to register for LIBR 298, contact the faculty member with whom you would like to work. A faculty member may refuse if they have no research interest in the area.

This class may be taken for 1 to 3 units, and it also can be repeated for a maximum of six units of credit. It has credit/no credit grading.
