Course Requirements
Course Organization
This class meets online (via Blackboard) January 26th through April 27th. Please enroll in the Blackboard site by Thursday, January 26th; you will be sent an access code through MySJSU.
It is useful to think of having a “meeting day” each week – a day in which you can assume new material will be provided and on which assignments will be due. Our class meeting day will be Thursday. While you are free to do the readings, contribute to discussions, and work on assignments in any way that fits into your schedule during the week, you should check for new postings from the instructor on Thursdays, and assignments will be due on Thursdays unless other dates are specified. We will meet online 10 weeks rather than 15, because of the two all-day face-to-face class meetings.
The class will meet twice in a face-to-face format with video between Fullerton (PLS 49) and San Jose (IRC), February 4 and March 18. I anticipate that I will be in Fullerton for the first f2f class and in San Jose for the 2nd.

The assignments for this course, and their corresponding point values, are:
