LexisNexis accounts are available to SLIS students at no cost. Students in LIBR 244 generally receive an account as part of their coursework. Your LexisNexis account will remain active as long as you are a SLIS student at SJSU.

Customize your Nexis ID and Password

Go to http://www.nexis.com. If your sign-on information is saved you'll have to sign out (upper right corner) and then click on "un-save my Sign On information" on the next page.

Once you get to the login screen click on "Create a custom ID" in the lower left hand corner. Follow the directions and VOILA! No more scratching your head trying to remember some random ID.
