Part 1: Usability testing

For this assignment, you will conduct a usability test of the CSUF Library Website. Using the methodology (the set of 10 usability questions and 4 user tasks) we developed in class, identify at least 3 people who will be willing to be system evaluators. One of these 3 may be a fellow student in the class. Of the other 2, at least one must be a novice or naive user. Be sure to record their feedback for use in part two of this assignment.

Write up a brief report of the results of the three tests. Pay particular attention to items which might suggest changes in the design of the present website.

Part 2: Iterative design

Using the results of your usability testing, develop a prototype of the CSUF Library Website. Change only the wording of the menu options. Do not make any changes which were not suggested by your usability test; that is, your prototype should not reflect what you think, but rather what the system evaluators thought.
