There are three components of grading in the class.

• The web site review are designed to apply critical evaluation skills to websites and to practice talking about websites in public.
• You will write your impressions of the technology present, particularly web-based technologies, at a technology/professional gathering, such as CLA, Interne Librarian or other technology/professional organization.
• Assignment 1 will require you to conduct a usability test on a web site and create a working prototype based on the results of your test. You will present your prototype to the class.
• In Assignment 2 you will create a plan for your term project.
• The Term Project will require you to implement a website of your original design which employs the technologies and techniques covered in the class. You will present your term project to the class.
