COURSE DESCRIPTION

Creating Digital Multimedia Presentations

We will be exploring cost- and time-effective multimedia solutions for teaching
tutorials, informational kiosks, and e-learning. We'll play with Quicktime, video editing, XHTML (and frames, forms, etc.), digital audio, Powerpoint, Real streaming, Flash, etc. We will create several projects. A typical assignment might be to create a step-by-step tutorial website with synchronized audio and still image examples, and which can be smoothly accessed by internet users with non-DSL connections.
