CCBC or the Cooperative Childrenís Book Center is located in the Library School at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. It is a non-circulating library of materials both historical ad current for use by those with an academic, professional, or career interest in childrenís and young adult literature. Each year, the staff publishes the CCBC Choices which lists and annotates the best of the new crop. The bibliography also contains an extremely valuable lengthy essay on the state of childrenís and YA literature, particularly in each area of multicultural resources.
