LIBR 203 Online Learning: Tools and Strategies for Success

All new students beginning with those entering Fall 2008 are required to take LIBR 203: Online Learning: Tools and Strategies for Success, a 1 unit CR/NC course.

This course introduces students to a variety of new and emerging technologies used in today's online environment. It covers various social networking platforms, content and learning management tools, web conferencing, immersive environments, and other trends in social computing.

New students must complete this required course within the first four weeks of the first semester.

Any student who does not complete the class will be placed on administrative probation. After a virtual meeting with the Graduate Coordinator, a student will be allowed to retake LIBR 203. If the class is not passed on the second attempt, the student will be disqualified from the University.
