New Student Meet-ups Spring 2013
We are offering a variety of meet-up opportunities for new students to socialize and to discuss topics related to their academic work. There will be two or three peer mentors at each meeting to help facilitate and answer questions. See details below.

We love Google! Join us as we look at some of the awesome features Google has that will not only help you while you go through school, but well beyond the walls of academia! Learn about Google Scholar (and some super helpful tricks of the trade to get you the information you need), Gmail, calendar, hangouts, drive and more!

Writing Your Research Paper

Do you agree with Gene Fowler? It doesn’t have to be that way. Join us for a step-by-step plan to writing a successful research paper. We will discuss finding resources, annotated bibliographies, note-taking, ALA writing style, outlining, editing tips, and more. Feel confident in the writing process before you begin those first research papers for your core classes.
