Online Rooms

The Online Rooms area of a D2L course is where you can create and access rooms for live meetings, which are provided via the Elluminate conferencing tool. This allows students to setup Elluminate sessions on their own without having to go through the formal request procedure which was used previously. In the Online Rooms area you can also access an archive of meetings that were recorded and saved for later viewing.

Some examples of the ways in which online rooms might be used by students are as follows:

Regardless of where you are in a course site, click on the Online Rooms link in the course navigation bar to access this area.

Create a New Room
Create a new room, set the date and time for its availability, and set advanced properties for the room
