Troubleshooting for QuickTime Video

Mac Users:

PC Users:

Change your QuickTime Settings

  1. Open QuickTime.
  2. Click Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences
  3. Navigate to the Advanced Tab
  4. Under Transport Setup, select Custom.
  5. Under Transport Protocol, select HTTP.
  6. Under Port ID, select Custom and input 554 into the text field.
  7. Click OK to exit the window.
  8. Click OK to close the QuickTime Preferences window.

Problems viewing QuickTime in Internet Explorer 8? Check your Add-Ons.

  1. In Internet Explorer, select Tools > Manage Add-ons
  2. Under the Show drop-down menu, select All add-ons.
  3. Scroll down the add-on list and find Apple Inc.
  4. If the status for all Apple add-ons is set to Disabled, please enable all of them by highlighting each Apple add-on individually and clicking the Enable button beneath the add-on list.
