Using Blogslines & RSS

Step 1

Go to the Bloglines website and create an account by clicking on the link labeled Sign up now It's free!

Note: you are required to give them a valid email address and must respond to a confirmation email to proceed with the following steps!

Step 2

Click on the validation link in the email sent to you by bloglines. You should get a page like the one below. Here you can subscribe to many popular content providers on the web. For this tutorial, click on the FEEDS tab in the upper left portion of the screen, then click the ADD tab.

Step 3

In the Add Feeds section there is a form where you can search for content or input a URL. In the image below, the URL for Dr. Main's blog was copied from the address bar of the browser. You can do this for any website that offers either RSS or ATOM feeds.

Step 4

View the results and repeat as many times as you have favorite content providers on the web!
