I am currently the Director at Large for the Society of California Archivists. I served as Chair of the Archival Educators Roundtable from 2003-2006 for the Society of American Archivists.
I've also participated in committee activity in several groups: Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA) International Metadata Task Force; Society of American Archivist- Harold T. Pinkett Minority Student Award Committee, 2006-2007; Society of California Archivists, Education Committee, 2004-2008, and the 2008 Annual Meeting, Local Arrangements Committee and Program Committee.
I've held the position of Reviewer at the Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, 2005-2006.
I've also held the position of Consultant in public libraries throughout the state of California- primarily in the Bay Area.
