Entry Requirements
Applicants must have a relevant master's degree or equivalent with first– or second–class (GPA 3.5 minimum) standing from San José State University or another recognized institution.
Students in the San José cohort must have been accepted and endorsed by a specific San José SLIS tenured faculty member who has been accredited as a doctoral supervisor by QUT and approved by the School's Ph.D. admissions and advisory committee.
These two requirements must be met prior to formal application to QUT.
The process of negotiation with a potential San José supervisor may include a personal interview and submission of additional work.
Application Deadline
February 16, 2009 — San José Endorsement.
March 16, 2009 — Application to QUT.
