Linda Paulo Meiss Linda graduated from SJSU in June 1975 and by February of the following year she started working for San Jose Public as a children's librarian. She worked at five branches including one year as a teen librarian before a transfer to the Main Library. She has worked in the Reference Department in many capacities specializing in technology including conducting searches for the public in many database services like Dialog and database training for librarians and staff.

Linda was involved with the transition to the joint library on campus and is actively involved in promoting the benefits of the cooperation.

Proposal Title: Public Reference Librarians and their motivations for participation in continuing professional development.
