Elizabeth Wrenn-Estes

Wrenn-Estes moved to San Leandro, CA. from Denver, Colorado in fall of 2008. She was an active member of the Colorado library community serving as President of the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL), Chairperson of the Annual CAL Conference, and Chairperson of the CAL Publications Committee. An active youth services librarian Wrenn-Estes worked in both the school and public library environments. A dedicated storyteller and young adult advocate Wrenn-Estes developed workshops for teachers and librarians on topics surrounding storytelling, booktalking, and adolescent and adult information seeking process and behavior. Wrenn-Estes taught part-time for The University of Colorado Health Sciences Teacher-Librarian program and for the MLIS program at the University of Denver.

Wrenn-Estes has been married to Mark Estes for 31 years. Mark is currently the Director of the Alameda County Law Library. She has one daughter Whitney, and one adorable grand child Lorelei who is 14 months old.
