American Indian Grant

In partnership with the American Indian Library Association, the San José School of Library and Information Science is seeking grant funding that will allow us to offer scholarships, mentoring, and other support for Americans Indians and Alaska Natives as they earn an ALA-accredited fully online Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree.

We submitted our grant application to the Institute of Museum and Library Serviceslink goes to non-SJSU web site in December 2009. Should we receive an IMLS grant, scholarship funds could be available by Spring 2011 at the earliest. However, other scholarship opportunities are available.
