American Library Association Student Chapter at San Jose State University
Welcome! The ALA Student Chapter at San Jose State University is intended to foster student participation in the American Library Association, to sponsor professional and social events for the students of the School of Library and Information Science, and to provide a supportive environment in which students can work and learn together.
Activities
ALASC sponsors a number of activities for SLIS students, including professional events such as the luminary lecture series, and social events such as fall and spring get togethers held near campus. If you would like to suggest an activity or help put something together, please contact us. We'd love to hear from you!
