Susan Ardis

Lecturer

Susan is currently Head of the Science Libraries Division at The University of Texas at Austin, which consists of the Chemistry, Engineering, Geology, Life Science, Marine Science, and Physics-Math-Astronomy Libraries.

She has written three books: Guide to the Literature of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Introduction to U.S. Patent Searching, Electronic Library Plug in and Go, and numerous articles on the uses of technology in academic and special libraries.

Susan is active in teaching and continuing education. Her current area of interest is Information Literacy in Engineering. She is on a team within Technical Communications of the College of Engineering to create information literacy modules.
