Dr. Bontenbal is currently the Instructional Technology Librarian at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, California. He says his position "is an interesting one in that half of me serves as a traditional librarian and the other half of me serves as a resource person for faculty who are interested in incorporating technology into their teaching."

In his spare time Kevin Bontenbal enjoys mountain bike riding and spending time with Jessica (his wife), their three sons, Miles, Max, and Ian, and friends.
