Robert Boyd, J.D.

Lecturer

Robert Boyd is a manager in the Information Technology department at Santa Clara University and, more recently, has added the title of AUL for Technology Applications in the University Library. Since 1997, Rob has helped support the Oracle/PeopleSoft implementation focusing on the Campus Solutions modules including Recruitment and Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Financials, Student Records and Academic Advisement. Now, in addition, Rob helps supervise the library system as well as digital initiatives.

Rob earned a JD from the Santa Clara University School of Law. He also completed the Executive MLIS program at San José State University and holds a master's degree and single subject teaching credential in Social Science from Stanford University's Graduate School of Education. Rob studied history at Santa Clara University including a junior year abroad program at Loyola University of Chicago's Rome Center in Italy.

Rob's hobbies include the Scottish bagpipes and tennis. Rob and his wife, Janet, live in Morgan Hill, CA with their three teenage children, Patrick, Mary Beth and Andrew.
