Ellen Greenblatt

Lecturer

Ellen Greenblatt is currently Associate Dean for Access, Collections, and Technical Services at Auraria Library which serves the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center, Metropolitan State College of Denver, and the Community College of Denver. Previously, she worked at the University at Buffalo and Princeton University.

Active in the field of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, and Queer/Questioning (LGBTIQ) librarianship for over twenty years, she co-edited Gay and Lesbian Library Service, co-compiled an LGBTIQ thesaurus, co-chaired the ALA GLBT Round Table, and has served on a number of advisory boards including those for the EBSCO GLBT Life Database and the Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies (CLAGS) International Resource Network. Her research focuses primarily on LGBTIQ and diversity issues in librarianship and has been published in a variety of journals and edited collections. She has also given several presentations at national and regional conferences.
