Dr. Michael Q. Hooks

Lecturer

Michael Hooks has over 30 years experience as a professional archivist in a variety of settings, including academic, state government, and a federally funded research and development center. He has started two archives and served in several management positions. He is a Certified Archivist, and is a charter member of the Academy of Certified Archivists.

Currently he is Project Archivist in the USC Libraries Special Collections Department at the University of Southern California. His responsibilities include processing archival records and manuscript collections and supervising students working on these projects.
