Dr. Renée Jefferson
Lecturer
Dr. Renée N. Jefferson received her M.L.I.S. from the University of South Carolina and her Ph.D. in educational measurement and statistics from the University of Iowa. She was formerly an Assistant Professor in the School of Library and Information Science at the University of South Carolina. Her professional library experience includes Head of Reference Services at California State University, San Bernardino, and social sciences librarian at California State University, Long Beach.
Her research interests include the use of college admissions tests, information literacy, and professional ethics. Most recently, she coauthored Ethical Perspectives of Graduate Library and Information Science Students in the United States published in New Library World (2005).
