Sara F. Jones
Lecturer
Sara Jones is the State Librarian and Administrator of the Nevada State Library and Archives in Carson City, Nevada. She is also currently a doctoral student at the University of North Texas, in an IMLS supported distance independent Ph.D. program. She received her M.L.S. from Syracuse University and has over 20 years experience in libraries, 15 of those in the management of public libraries and the state library. Additionally she is the Project Director of two IMLS Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Projects, with funding over $1,000,000. Her research interests are in LIS distance education, management and leadership in the information profession.
