Dr. Ann Marlow Riedling
Lecturer
Dr. Riedling has worked in the field of LIS for over 30 years. She has worked in all areas of librarianship from medical to law, but her primary focus is schools.
Ann has worked as an Assistant/Associate Professor since 1996. She served as the Chair of the TL Program for 8 years at Spalding University, Louisville, KY.
She lives in Louisville and enjoys volunteering, walking, reading, traveling and dogs. Dr. Riedling has written 11 textbooks regarding TL and one trade book about her Fulbright experiences; she has also written numerous articles, case studies and columns for a variety of scholarly journals.
Dr. Riedling loves to travel and has been fortunate to combine travel with work. She has served 2 Fulbright Scholarships in Bahrain, Yemen, Egypt and Oman and 2 Fulbright Specialist awards in Pakistan. Dr. Riedling has taken students on courses of study in Ireland, Israel, China and Turkey. She has presented in over 22 countries. Her research interests are in information literacy, TL and academic achievement, and international initiatives.
