Cindy Runnels
Lecturer
Cindy Runnels earned her MLIS from San José State University in 2008. She became a graduate student teaching assistant in 2007 and was a peer mentor for the Elluminate Student Training Project.
Interested in LIS education and Web technologies used in distance learning programs, Cindy teaches LIBR 203: Online Social Networking: Technology and Tools. Cindy hopes that students will take advantage of the online tools offered at SJSU SLIS and elsewhere to enhance and enrich their educational experiences, expand their professional networking capabilities, and, most importantly, to make some friends and have some fun during library school.
