Emily Reich Shem-Tov
Lecturer
Emily Shem-Tov combines a lifelong interest in the social aspects of technology with a background in business and recent experience in both special and public libraries. At Adobe Systems, Emily manages a global market research portal, blogs and other collaboration tools, responds to custom research inquiries, assists in the management of the on-site and online library collections and services and promotes the group’s services through marketing and training.
Previously, Emily served as an extra-help librarian in the public library, gaining reference experience at five different community libraries and working on the system's blog, MySpace pages and grant requests. Prior to her library work, Emily worked for over ten years building web sites and designing and facilitating online events and team spaces for non-profit and commercial clients. She currently serves on the Morgan Hill Library, Arts and Culture Commission and is an avid blogger both personally and professionally.
