Elizabeth S. Wrenn-EstesLecturer Beth Wrenn-Estes has been a school and a public librarian. She also was the Manager of Technical Services, Collection Development and Acquisitions for a major school district in Denver, Colorado. Before Wrenn-Estes started teaching for SJSU as her only occupation she was at Lone Tree Library in Douglas County, CO. Beth was a youth services librarian and was responsible for both children and young adult programs and services. She is passionate about libraries and especially serving youth. Wrenn-Estes has research interests in information seeking behaviors of youth and serving disconnected youth in public and school populations. Wrenn-Estes is a member of ALA, ALISE, YALSA, NCTE, CLA and Freedom to Read Foundation. She has served as President of the Colorado Association of Libraries and served on that association's conference committee, publications committee, and foundation committee. She currently serves as a director at large on the California Library Association board and is the current chair of the ByLaws Committee. Wrenn-Estes' husband Mark is a law-librarian and is the Director of the Alameda County Law Library. She has one daughter, Whitney, and two grandchildren (Lorelei and Tabitha). Courses Taught
