Alum Lydia Collins Selected to Attend the 2010 ACRL Teacher Track Immersion Program

Photo of Lydia Collins SLIS alum Lydia Collins was recently chosen to attend this year's ACRL Teacher Track Immersion Program link goes to non-SJSU web site in Burlington, Vermont. The program comprises an intensive four-and-a-half-days of work on information literacy.

"I am excited for the opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussions regarding information literacy, as I constantly strive to become a better teacher," says Collins. "As a participant in Immersion I will be surrounded by other talented librarians and am looking forward to the experience."

Collins, a 2006 graduate of SLIS's MLIS program, is currently the librarian for the College of Health Sciences at the University of Delaware.
