Career Center Liaison to SLIS

In her role as the Career Center Liaison to the School of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University, Jill Klees is committed to providing virtual career coaching and support to SLIS students. Her main objective is to bring career services directly to students, offering services and resources that address the unique needs and career objectives of SLIS students, and making them easy to find and accessible 24/7. Jill has been instrumental in creating a comprehensive, robust, up-to-date, one-stop virtual career center tailored specifically to the needs of SLIS online students and focused on the career opportunities available to the School's graduates. She is available via email, phone, and virtual chat to answer questions, critique resumes and assist active job seekers in their internship and job search.

The SLIS Career Development web site has become the hub of the School's virtual career center services. The web pages contain rich content that is easy to find on the SLIS Home Page and intuitive to navigate. The content is updated regularly, and new content is added as needed.

Students are encouraged to explore resources on the site and follow-up with her via email to ask a question or request a resume critique or virtual career coaching session.
