Lisa ValdezGrant Coordinator Lisa supports SLIS faculty in their grant development efforts by researching grant opportunities, developing grant applications, and coordinating grant logistics. Biographical SketchLisa Valdez has more than 16 years of proposal development experience in education and health care settings. She developed numerous successful proposals for multi-year government contracts valued at up to $50 million annually on behalf of a large national health care corporation. She also developed successful grant applications on behalf of universities, school districts, and non-profit organizations. Her funded grant applications include a multi-year IMLS grant award for $930,000, representing a collaborative effort between SLIS, the University Library at SJSU, the San José Public Library, and the National Hispanic University. Lisa also has experience in a broad range of business development and fund development activities.
