Mary Ann Harlan

Post

Mary Ann was a teacher librarian for 10 years, after she learned that the library is where all the fun learning was taking place. Previously she taught English in a middle school. She is an active member of California School Library Association and the American Association of School Libraries, and has served on the Board of Directors for both organizations, as well as serving on the Quick Picks committee for YALSA. Her joy in working with adolescents is instrumental in her research, which allows her to continue to work with teenagers. She won the 2012 QUT Executive Dean’s Commendation for her dissertation.
