Beta Phi Mu
The SJSU School of Library and Information Science has a Beta Phi Mu chapter. Beta Phi Mu was founded in 1948 to "to recognize and encourage scholastic achievement among library and information studies students." Membership is by invitation of faculty from an American Library Association accredited program. Invitations are sent in May of each year to eligible graduates from the previous calendar year.
