American Association of Law Libraries Morris L. Cohen Award

The Legal History and Rare Books Section of the AALL in conjunction with Gage Cengage Learning offer an essay competition awarding $500 plus up to $1,000 in travel expenses to attend the AALL annual meeting. The award honors Dr. Morris L. Cohen, one of the founders of the AALL section and Professor Emeritus of Law at Yale Law School. Students in library science, law, or history are eligible and should submit a paper on any topic related to legal history, rare law books, or legal archives.
