William Randolf Hearst/CSU Trustees' Award

Purpose: The William Randolf Hearst / CSU Trustees' Award recognizes students who have overcome adversity, demonstrated financial need, and have attributes of merit including superior academic performance, exemplary community service, and significant personal achievements. Each nominee will be awarded a scholarship in the amount of $3,000 for the 2012-13 academic year. The nominee(s) who best demonstrates need and merit is designated the Trustee Ali C. Razi Scholar and receives a $10,000 scholarship. The nominee(s) who has contributed the most to his or her home or university community will be designated the Trustee Murray L. Galinson Scholar and will receive a $6,000 scholarship.
