New England Library Association (NELA) Scholarships

Purpose: The New England Library Association scholarship program provides financial assistance for worthy students pursuing a Master's Degree in Library Science.

Deadline: March 15
Award: $2000 (full-time); $1000 (part-time)

Eligibility: An applicant must be

A New England resident who would be likely to stay and work in the region.
A full or part-time student (a) who is attending an ALA-accredited school in New England or New York or an ALA-accredited program offered in the New England states, and (b) who is pursuing a master's degree in library science.
Someone with a demonstrated need for financial assistance.
