Adding podcasts and music files
SLISLife allows you to link podcasts and music files into your blogs, but does not provide a hosting service of your files. If you want to add a podcast or music file into your SLISLife blog, you will need to use a .mp3 file that is online or from your own server and link it from there.
For example, this is the "Story for Kids" podcast site for the Denver Public Library. Click the podcast linkof "In the Rain with Baby Duck".
Copy the link in the web browser address bar, by highlighting it with your mouse, then right click and copy.
Using the SLISLife Visual Editor, type the text that you would like use for the link of your podcast. After entering the test, highlight it, and then click on the "Insert/Edit Link" button.
A window will pop up. paste the podcast link that you retrieved from the Denver Public Library podcast site and click OK.
Your text that you typed in will now appear in blue and will be underlined. Click "Post" to save your blog entry.
The podcast link will now appear in your blog entry.
