Searching SLISLife
To use the Search feature, click on the "Search" button from the menu bar across the top of the page.
This will take you to the basic search page. From this page, you can search by first and/or last name. This is useful for finding out if others you know are already SLISLife users.
Enter the name of the person you are looking for, and press the "Search" button.
The results of your search will be displayed on the bottom portion of your screen. The names and thumbnail images of the users who match your search criteria will be displayed, and you can click through to their full profiles to learn more.
You can also select "Advanced Search" from the menu bar at the top of the screen. This brings you to another page where you have more options. Using this page, you can search for users by a number of other features, including location and specialization.
