Greetings SLIS Classmates, Faculty, and Staff!

Welcome and welcome back to all new and returning SLIS members!  I hope 
everyone had a refreshing break.  As we all get ready to head back to 
class, virtually or otherwise, I'd like to announce that LISSTEN is 
kicking off it's Spring Semester Fundraiser!

We are introducing our newest item, the SLIS Lanyard!  See our Presale 
Special and Order Form (attached).  This is available exclusively through 
LISSTEN!  Start your semester off in style!  Get your travel mugs too! 
They're so hot they're blue- cobalt blue!

Help support your student organization through the purchase of these 
items!

Here are some of the events LISSTEN facilitates:

	* Banned Books Week- Participate in your 1st Amendment rights by reading a
   	  challenged book!
	* Resume & Interview Workshop- Resume building, mock interviews, and job
          hunting skills with LIS professionals and SLIS grads.
	* Graduation- Ceremony hosted for graduating SLIS students at Hope
   	  University's Pacific Auditorium.
	* Library Tours- Hosted throughout the year at all types of libraries.

Remember. LISSTEN is "your student voice."

We're always looking for new ideas on how to best serve you.  If you have
