Summary

The Stipend Giver enable students to "Withdraw" any points awarded to them as real Linden dollars from the teachers account. Alternatively, the students can also "Pay" the Stipend Giver, and the amount paid will be added to the Scoreboard. In this way, teachers can give stipends to students, or use the stipend giver for simulated accounting exercises where a "Withdraw" and "Deposit" abilities are required

Giving a Stipend to a Student

To set the stipend amount a student shall receive, simply click on that students name, and add the amount of lindens required. You will also need to ensure that the currency type of the Stipend Giver, is set to "Lindens", AND you have enough Lindens in your Account to cover the total number of stipends awarded.

Rezzing a Stipend Giver

1. To Rez a stipend giver, click on the Sloodle Awards icon in the top left of the scoreboard.

1. This will cause a blue menu to appear.

1. Select "Setup" and then choose "Addons",

then "Stipend"

1. This will rez and automatically configure your Stipend Giver
